Therefore, having this ministry by the mercy of God, we do not lose heart. But we have renounced disgraceful, underhanded ways. We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by the open statement of the truth we would commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God. And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled only to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For what we proclaim is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, with ourselves as your sevants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, Let light shine out of darkness," has shown in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Cor. 4:1-6

A Letter from Pastor Tim
The apostle Paul in his letters to the first churches spread across Asia Minor and Rome often warned about teaching solid doctrine and biblical truths. In the fourth chapter of 2nd Corinthians he states "We refuse to practice cunning or to tamper with God's word, but by open statements of truth we commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God" (emphasis mine). Paul warns the church at Ephesus that bad teaching (doctrine) hampers Christian maturity and that the only remedy to this is "speaking the truth in love"
When we look at our Bibles we should fully comprehend that what we are holding is the only absolute truth in the universe; Sola Scriptura or Scripture Alone is what the reformers called it. This is what we breathe to be at CCRF, a fellowship lead by scripture alone, no programs or book studies, but simply expository, verse by verse, book by book teaching, aligning our thoughts and actions to our Creators; for His glory alone.
Looking to Christ as our sole sufficiency in all matters of day to day life and resting in His Supremacy in all things, we strain forward together; brothers and sisters created in Christ Jesus .
